My research targets early neurodevelopment and the setup of cognitive processing.
Wil my team we investigate the very early spontaneous activity in the brain using different technique such as EEG, MEG, and fNIRS, and the neural response to exogenous, notably auditory, during early neurodevelopment.
My particular interest and research project are related to the setup of rhythm perception before the equivalent age of term, the impact of premature birth and exposure to the NICU environment on this process, and possible benefits of early musical interventions in the NICU for the premature born infants.
